Highway 136 Closure During the Weekend of June 5
The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable advises road users that a section of Highway 136 (Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels) will be closed in both directions during the weekend of June 5.
Closure Details and Detours
Westbound
Complete closure of Highway 136 between Panet Street and the entrance ramp from Lucien-L’Allier Street, from Friday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.;
Traffic will be detoured via Viger Avenue and Saint-Antoine Street West.
Eastbound
Complete closure of Highway 136 between Exit 4 (Victoria Bridge, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard, de la Montagne Street) and the entrance ramp from Atateken Street, from Friday at 11:30 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.;
Traffic will be detoured via Saint-Antoine Street.
Please note that entrance ramps will be closed 30 to 60 minutes before the full closure of Highway 136. Detour routes will be clearly marked with temporary signage, and police officers will be on site to assist with traffic flow.
