Renovation work at Vendôme station

In order to offer users a more practical access, exo is making major improvements to Vendôme station. The project implies completely rebuilding the north platform. In spite of this, the station will remain open and trains will circulate as usual.

Nature of the work

• Demolition of the north platform
• Debris removal
• Concrete pouring
• Reconstruction of the platform
• Installation of tactile paving, signage, and urban furniture

Work Schedule

• Period: From March 31 to mid-December 2025. Preparatory work, including the installation of fences and equipment, could begin around March 10.
• Hours: Work will take place Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Teams may arrive on-site as early as 6:30 a.m. but will not begin work before 7:00 a.m., in compliance with city regulations.

Possible disturbances

While all measures will be taken to minimize the impact on the surrounding area, some construction-related disruptions are to be expected. These may include typical construction noise, light vibrations, and dust. Noise, dust, and vibration sensors will be installed at various locations near the worksite. The contractor must respect the limits set by applicable city regulation. Note that an increase in truck circulation is to be expected since access to the work site is located on Rue Sainte-Catherine, at the entrance of the parking lot south of 5000 Boulevard De Maisonneuve.
