Roadwork and Traffic Disruptions–May 14 to 19

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will be carrying out several works over the weekend of May 14 to 19. These interventions will result in significant closures in the Turcot Interchange area as well as on Route 136, as part of repair and maintenance work on the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels.

Main traffic disruptions

• Route 136 eastbound: full closure between Exit 4 (Victoria Bridge, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard, de la Montagne Street) and the entrance from Atateken Street, from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
  • Closure of access ramps toward downtown, including from Robert-Bourassa Boulevard and Cathédrale Street
• Turcot Interchange (night work from May 14 to 19): successive closures affecting Highways 15 and 20 as well as Route 136
  • Full closures of road segments depending on the night
  • Closure of ramps and access points in the area
  • Significant impacts on downtown-bound traffic and major highway corridors
