In order to ensure the reliability of the electrical distribution, improving continuity, and securing the supply of electricity, Hydro Westmount will carry out work in the lane between Clarke and Olivier avenues, between Cedar Avenue and Sherbrooke Street.
The work requires excavation to replace the existing cable duct. This work is scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026, and the estimated duration of work is around five (5) weeks.
Please note that employees and the subcontractor, TCI, will be required to circulate on private property in order to perform certain specific tasks. Beyond transfers from one circuit to another, no power interruption is expected during this work, although unforeseen events may occur.
This work will be carried out by teams of professionals, careful to not cause damage to private property, and the site will be reinstated as it was before work began.
