Update: The water shutdown has been postponed to Wednesday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A water shutdown is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Roslyn Avenue (addresses 411 to 509 and 412 to 504) as part of municipal infrastructure work.
Once water service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until further notice. Affected residents must boil water for at least one minute before drinking it or using it for food preparation, brushing teeth, or making ice.
A notice will be issued as soon as water quality testing confirms that the advisory can be lifted.
