Opening an Account - Business

To open a new business account, complete the form below and include the required documents. A $25 account opening fee will be applied to your first Hydro Westmount bill.

Please note that you may be subject to a refundable security deposit in accordance with the conditions set out in the by-law establishing the City of Westmount's conditions for the supply of electricity. 

Before starting, make sure you have the following information on hand:

  • The exact start date and address where the electricity will be consumed
  • Telephone number(s) and email address for account holders
  • Telephone number(s) and email address for billing

Are you now, or have you ever been, a Hydro Westmount customer?•
Leave this field blank if you no longer have your old Hydro Westmount customer number.
Include the civic number, street name, and postal code. Leave this field empty if you no longer have this information.

Please note that opening a new account does not automatically cancel your old service contract. Please ensure that you close your old accounts.
